Field scanning + escort

Two-person scan team + your operations escort in restricted zones. Standard operations rate ~50,000-100,000 m² per day depending on access constraints.

Are the scanners certified for hazardous areas?

We deploy IIC Zone 1 / Zone 2 rated scanner accessories where required. The scanner itself is battery-operated, no sparking risk. We've worked Zone 1 areas at refineries, LNG terminals, and chemical plants.

Do we need to provide an operations escort?

Yes for restricted areas (operating units, control rooms, process areas). Our scan plan documents this in advance so your safety officer can pre-allocate escort time.

What if there's an operations issue during scanning?

Standard protocol · stop, withdraw, await operations clearance. We build 15-20% schedule buffer for operations-driven pauses. Has never resulted in a project delay in our experience.

Can you scan during turnaround as well?

Yes · turnaround scans are faster (no access constraints) but more competitive for shutdown time. We prefer to pre-scan when possible and use turnaround for specific obstructed-during-operation areas only.

How is data quality affected vs cold shutdown?

Not affected. Same scanners, same registration, same accuracy. The only difference is access constraint · we plan around it. Final deliverable quality is identical.
