How long does a typical brownfield scan take?
Throughput is ~100,000 m² per day. A small petrochem unit (10,000 m²): 1 day. A full refinery (200,000+ m²): 2-3 weeks of field time + 4-6 weeks registration + QC.
Do we need to shut down for the scan?
No. We scan during live operations. Our crews are trained in hot-work area protocols, intrinsically safe equipment, and explicit no-touch discipline. We've done it at Bayer, Pfizer, TATA, Adani, JSW sites without interrupting production.
What's the accuracy?
Survey-grade · 1-2 mm relative accuracy across the registered model. This is good enough for clash detection, retrofit design, and digital twin geometry. For sub-mm accuracy (turbine alignment, vessel deformation), we deploy higher-end metrology scanners as a separate workflow.
Can the handover go directly into digital twin?
Yes. digital twin is our sister platform · we have a direct handover schema (classified point cloud + asset metadata + as-built drawings). For other platforms (AVEVA, Bentley, Hexagon, AspenTech), we deliver in their native exchange format.
