IEC 60909 or IEEE C37 · which method do you use?
Both. We default to IEC 60909 for India / GCC / Europe / Australia and IEEE C37 / ANSI for the Americas. For multinational programs where switchgear is sourced from multiple regions, we deliver both methods in parallel.
Do you include arc flash energy in short-circuit study deliverables?
No · arc flash is a separate study under IEEE 1584. But the short-circuit study is the upstream input to arc flash. We package them together in 60% of engagements.
How current does the data need to be?
Utility short-circuit MVA must be from the utility within the last 12 months · we confirm in writing. Transformer impedance is from nameplate. Motor contribution is from a current load flow.
Can you assess if my existing breakers are still rated?
Yes · that's the equipment duty audit step. We tabulate every breaker / fuse / MCCB nameplate against the current calculated fault duty, flag underrated equipment, and propose retrofit alternatives.
What deliverable format do you provide?
PDF technical report (CEng-signed) + ETAP or DigSILENT model + Excel equipment duty audit + annotated SLD. We can also deliver in CSV for digital twin ingest.
